Coaching in general, is a unique, one on one experience between two people, a coach and a client. Each coaching session is tailor made to the client’s needs, goals and desires, because no two people are the same, every coaching session is different! In a nutshell, a coach and client will work together to: identify the areas in their life which are in need of change or adjustments, determine the clients vision, (where they would like to be) develop new strategies that will help the client make these changes so they reach their desired goal and ultimately enhance and improve the client’s relationships and overall life! Coaching is about helping the client take action steps to get what they want out of life and their relationships!

While a client might want to dip into the past to share their story with their coach… a coach will not keep them in the pas!t We accept the past as just that, the past…a place where lots of learning and experience took place! Coaching is client driven, meaning the client is the one who is in control! Coaching is about meeting a client, right where they are and taking them to where they want to go both in both their life and their relationships! Coaching is about coach/client teamwork and strategizing together to come up with a plan for the client’s unique situation. Then, designing the necessary action steps to move the client towards their desired results in both their life and their relationships.
A therapist, psychologist or counselor focuses on the heartaches of the client‘s past. They will discuss past wounds by revisiting the pain so they can better understand how their past has affected who they are today! For some people who have intense issues or underlying medical issues, this can be the right choice! They also specialize in mental illness and disorders. The sessions are driven and controlled by the therapist, psychologist or counselor.
